A Midwinter Night's Dream

Step into a world of winter whimsy at ESL's "A Midwinter Night's Dream" on December 20th from 8-11pm. Join us for an evening where the cool jazz of Blue Dot Band sets the stage for a lineup of extraordinary burlesque performances by Aquarius Moon, Bebe Bardeaux, The Prima Valentina, Morticia Atoms, and Orpheus Rose. While the music captivates and the dancers dazzle, indulge in handcrafted cocktails and capture the magic of the night with festive portraits by the talented Kate Pannozzo.

Dress to impress in your finest winter garb and compete for fabulous prizes in our Best Dressed contest—think winter wonderland brought to life! Tickets are $20 per person, available now but hurry, as space is limited. Don't miss your chance to be part of this enchanting winter-solstice ball at Eighteenth Street Lounge. Nights Like This w/ Jerome Baker III + Jahsonic [10PM - 3AM]

Washington, DC native Jahsonic has been a staple of the local music scene, renowned for his electrifying sets at The Main Ingredient at Marvin since 2007 and starting his DJ journey with neighborhood parties at just 11 years old. With residencies at prominent venues and a role as a founding host on WPFW’s ‘Decipher’ hip-hop show, he also shone as a finalist in the 2011 Red Bull “ThreeStyle” DJ competition. Beyond the decks, Jahsonic spearheads the “Nights Like This" parties, known for their exuberant blend of soul, funk, disco, and innovative music selections.

Ring in the New Year at ESL with an electrifying celebration spread across two floors!


In the Red Room, dive into the vibrant beats of Amapiano DMV with DJs Mobu, Patto & Jaha, and Anansi + BK, hosted by the dynamic duo Zakeeya & Shiba.


Upstairs in the Green Room, groove to the legendary sounds of a special guest DJ from Glitterbox (Ibiza) and Defected Records, supported by our own DJ Oz.


Tickets start at $25, including a champagne toast at midnight to welcome 2025 with a sparkle!

Paul Howard and DJ A-Plane [10pm-3am]

Dj Paul Howard grew up with Hip Hop and House music from it’s genesis. Born in Queens and raised in New Rochelle AKA NOWRULE he attended Howard University where he honed his craft as a Dj. He has been djing for 30+years and has spun in numerous clubs and radio stations throughout DC. He was one of the original Mixshow DJs on Wkys 93.9 FM back in the early 90s. He can currently be heard spinning house music Mondays on WPFW 89.3 FM from Midnight till 2am on a show called House After Dark.
